Christmas countdown: Reindeer meals

These are 2 meals that I think the Reindeer's will like to eat on Christmas Eve. There are some ingredients that I like and I knew the meals could do well for the Reindeer's to eat.

Christmas Countdown: Wrapping paper

This is my Wrapping paper. This is in a order of Reindeer and Santa. The hardest part was creating the order but the one that had more fun was making Santa and the Reindeer. 

 

Christmas countdown task: Santa wish list 😀

 This is my Christmas Countdown task I wanted to do. These are the things I would like for Christmas this year because I like watching them on TV or I like them anyway because I enjoy them.

My favourite part is spending time with friends and family and having a day to open presents and enjoy myself on a special day.

RUIN video activity

This is my RUIN task I did. RUIN is a video the Whetu could watch once we have done our Daily 5 and other things. If we had watched it we could choose our activity and I thought it will be cool if I connected some activity's together and make it look like my scene I made of it.   

Y6 Bike Ride Trip

At a school event for the year 6,s we went on a bike trip. The school caretaker sorted out the bikes (we had to use school bikes) for the trip. It was hard work but it was heaps of fun. This task is only from the year six,s not other classes. Here are some photos from the trip:

Jacobs Survival backpack

This is my Survival backpack in case I get lost in the wild. I have chosen these stuff because they will help you if it is dark or if you are starving or if you need to swing across something. I recon they will keep you comfortable until you get home.  

Fabulous Finish T4

This is my Fab Finish for this term.

It was really fun putting on the slips and putting information inside.

It was also fun drawing the people because i know I believe I can draw it to standard.

(I am going to miss Whetu next year)

The least fun was getting burnt 

But apart from that its fun.

This is my Bush Survival. I am learning about Bush Survival and different ways how to look after yourself. This is task 1.

 How to find fresh Water?

1. Go to a flat stream and collect water there because it means less bugs

2. Find a trail of water of some kind of water source

3. Be alert of a big stream or something that has big waves.

 facts of what your Shelter needs to be like.

3. Make sure the shelter is strong and that is really secure and very very safe inside.

.2  Try to make a Shelter that can keep the Bugs away from you.

.3 Put your shelter on a nice flat surface

3 facts on How to start a fire.

.1 Find some Driftwood and rub them together, Or if you have a

flint and steel or matches and lighters can be helpful.

.2 Make sure the ground is not bumpy or the sticks or wood will burn everything

3. Set it where Trees are around but put it where there is a fair piece of space around.

3. First aid facts:

1. First aid is when somebody gets injured and they need medical treatment.

2. To help the person you could find a leave and wrap it around the injury if it really hurts

3. If the person is down you can do CPR on them if is very serious

Signals:

1. If it is dark, you can send a fire that is big and that can be 

seen in a birds-eye-view.

2. You can use a rope or any long source and wrap it around a Tree  

3. If there is a gate or a wall you could tie something around it and hike up it

Survivor knot activity

1.This is a Figure 8 Knot

This can be for making a tent with sheets or 
other stronger matarial.

Difficulty rating

2. This knot is a Bowline, good for keeping things secure from unwanted people or animals. 

8/10 difficulty

3. This is a reef knot great for keeping boats of from going out on shore and great stability when something goes wrong

CC T4 W4 Way with words

This is my way with words this week for Chapter Chat. This week I have made a book trailer from Adobe Spark.  

This week Coach Brody found out that Ghost stole some shoes from the sport shop and so Ghost is missing out on an electric blue Jumper. The book is finishing this week so i bet you should watch it.

Building a tent task 2

This is my Camp Survivor Challenge and we had to complete this to finish task 2.

What I learned.

I learned how to put the rods crossed-ways and how to put them into the slots.

The hardest part.

Trying to find a side to help with the rods because they were going all together and they may of snapped.

What worked well

😀

was that the whole group helped out to make the tent up.

And that the ground was flat when we were setting it up.

Survivor Troop Challenge Task 1

Troop 

• Near trees and near a river but not too close to the river because if the river gets high you will get wet

  Bad weather , Bugs and predators, wind, rain, trees falling. 

• Rope ,Sticks , Tarp , Rock's , Flacks and Leaves 
•  ' Good thing You get fresh air 
•  'Bad things : you will get bitten by bugs and you will get hurt, the hut might fall down.
